Our story
About CSVians
Data transformation should be more than fixing spreadsheets.
CSVians is being built around a simple idea: working with data should be easier, more predictable, and more transparent.
CSV files power countless workflows, from business operations and research to analytics and everyday tasks. Yet preparing them for real use can involve repetitive cleaning, inconsistent formatting, fragile conversions, and hours spent verifying results.
We're building CSVians to make those tasks simpler, more reliable, and easier to control.
More than a CSV cleaner
We believe CSV files can be more than static tables. They can become the foundation for reusable data workflows, specialized transformation tools, and automated operations.
Our vision is to help users move beyond repetitive manual work by making it easier to recognize data patterns, standardize values, validate results, and create reusable tools around their specific needs.
Rather than relying on AI for every operation, CSVians combines local, rule-based processing and selected validation checks with AI assistance where it adds genuine value.
Built with data integrity in mind
A transformation is only useful when you can trust its result. We believe data tools should make changes understandable, preserve important information where possible, and help users verify what happened to their data.
- Predictability
- Prefer consistent, rule-based operations whenever possible.
- Transparency
- Make transformations and their effects easier to inspect.
- Control
- Help users understand, validate, and manage the results of their data operations.
Data integrity should be part of the engineering, not an afterthought. Automated checks and AI assistance are not guarantees of correctness; users should always review results and keep original files.
Meet the founder
Nasar Ahmed Saimoon Patwary
Founder, CSVians
CSVians grew out of an interest in building a more capable way to work with structured data—not just another tool for fixing messy spreadsheets, but a foundation for specialized, reusable data transformations.
As a Computer Science and Engineering student at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), I'm exploring how traditional computing, data engineering, and AI can work together to make complex data tasks more accessible.
The long-term goal is to build a platform where users can turn repetitive data operations into reliable tools tailored to their own workflows.
Where we're going
CSVians is an evolving project, and we're continuously working toward a broader vision of data transformation.
We want to make it easier for people to go from raw data to useful results—and from repetitive manual operations to reusable, specialized data tools.
We're building toward a future where working with data requires less repetitive effort and gives users more control over the process. These are our goals, not a promise that every future capability is available today.
Less repetitive work. More control over your data.
